HRV

HRV

Booth 34 www.hrv.co.nz

An HRV System is a simple ingenious idea, on-trend with energy efficiency and well being. The free warm dry air ( and in summer - cool air during the night ) is filtered and purified and then circulated throughout your home. The system costs around 10cents per day for a fully specified multi outlet model. Imagine for a minute you are sitting inside a wet cardboard box. Now hop into a dry cardboard box.
This describes the ‘feel’ of a warm dry home. The benefits of a dry home are numerous and very significant for your health and the health of your family. With an HRV Ventilation system, the warming and drying process is fairly constant. This dry's your home out and you will find your home requires less heating from other sources, no expensive and time consuming dehumidifiers... That’s less fuel to buy, wood to chop and power bills to pay. With an HRV System, you can often look at more efficient ways to take the extra chill of winter away. Ask your HRV expert for a heating plan, which will often mean using less heaters of a more efficient type. Your HRV expert will also have tips on insulation and other ways to help create a warmer, drier, healthier home. The system is proving very popular in Southland, Otago and Canterbury – areas which have many of New Zealand’s coldest homes.

Our point of difference in design was that the HRV system offered a multi-outlet system to work right throughout your home and offered a superior and sensible level of filtration and a fan and controlling system that could replace the air in your home up to twice an hour at maximum capacity. The Synsafe F6 electrostatic deep pleat filter used in the system removes pollutants, pollen and harmful dust to a sensible level down to .4 of a micron, and in, independent filter tests, out performs other ventilation brands. Add -on Ozone, UV and TFP filters are simply not necessary to give you a sensible level of filtration, and add cost for no practical benefit. Read a few letters from our happy customers ? many mention the positive change in health created by an HRV whole home ventilation system.
HRV is New Zealand’s leading whole home ventilation system. The company has recently topped the Deloitte Fast50 Index – this is an independent review of New Zealand businesses and growth performance - supplied to Deloittes by accounting firms throughout the country. The real winners are, of course, the 50,000 canny Kiwis that recognised that a home with an HRV Ventilation System is healthier and more comfortable in summer and winter

Kona Makena: The Kona Makena is a children’s bike with 20 inch wheels. It has an alloy frame making it lighter and easier to ride for your little one. The grip-shift gearing allows for easy shifting and the front suspension fork makes it easier to tackle the rougher, tougher trails. Essentially an adult bike that has been scaled down to child-size, the Makena is an ideal first mountain bike for the 6 to 8 year old age range.

Kona Hula: The Kona Hula is a step up from the wee Makena…literally. With 24 inch wheels, this is something tailored a bit more towards the older, more experienced age bracket, typically the 8 to 10 year old range. Like its smaller counterpart, the Hula uses an aluminium frame yet has been upgraded to include 21 trigger shift gears just like an adult bike. It also includes a front suspension fork. Rugged and fast, you won’t have to worry about the kids keeping up anymore…you’ll have to worry about keeping up with them!

Kona Lanai’i: This is an ideal bike for the entry-level rider or someone looking to join the 4% of Cantabrians that commute by bike each day. Capable of tackling Bottle Lake Forest Park and McLeans Island with no trouble, it’s the ultimate all-rounder. It comes with 24 gears, a front suspension fork and has an alloy frame. If you’re looking to get back into cycling after years of letting your old bike rust away in the garage or just starting out, the Lanai’i is the perfect ride.

Kona Fire Mountain Deluxe: More advanced than the Lanaii, the Fire Mountain Deluxe will take you up the port hills and beyond. A high level of Shimano gearing offers up 27 gears for great shifting, especially under load. Disc brakes make for reliable, fast stopping in all weather conditions. 100mm of travel in the front fork coupled with a locking mechanism allows for superb off-road riding and great commutability at the same time. This is a bike for all occasions.

SolarPeak Canterbury

Solarpeak Canterbury

Booth 29 www.solarpeak.com

SolarPeak supplies and installs high efficiency solar water heaters tested in New Zealand and approved to New Zealand standards.

Evacuated tube collectors are more efficient because a vacuum surrounds the surface that collects heat from the sun. Once absorbed by the collector, the heat is unable to escape because of the vacuum. Think thermos flask!

Our high efficiency evacuated tube collectors are connected directly to your existing or new cylinder. This eliminates separate heat exchangers and the need for glycol (with its requirements for periodic maintenance and topping up).

SolarPeak installs to the highest standard, meeting or exceeding all New Zealand requirements. We only use the best quality components: insulated copper piping, German DeltaSol solar controllers, and German Wilo pumps. By installing a SolarPeak solar water heater you can be sure you have a durable, efficient product that will maximise your electricity savings.
